Plum – Lazy Bear Winery

Our wine tonight is the Plum from Lazy Bear Winery in Easley, South Carolina.

Lazy Bear Winery producers REAL fruit wines and meads.

Yes, this plum is produced from 100% locally sourced plums.

Lazy Bears grows a majority of the fruit and honey used in their wines and meads, and further sources from local farmers as much as possible.

This plum exhibits color characteristics of a White Zin, perhaps a light plum.

The nose is not overly expressive yet subtle and pleasant.

Semi-sweet.

The taste is amazingly reminiscent of Christmas plum pudding, with hints of citrus and nutmeg. The finish one of lasting smooth decadence.

12% ABV.

This small craft producer has racked up an impressive array of awards. We strongly encourage you to check them out in the upstate of South Carolina.

Open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday each week.
