Rust in color with a garnet rim.

Still not sparkling.

Nose of honey, cherry and almonds.

Dry on the palate with bitter sweet notes of black cherry and wildflower honey.

Finishes like a traditional mead.

A prime example of melomel mead.

This mead is smooth drinking, would pair well with Mexican food.

This is good. Really good. I would grade as gold medal worthy.

I’m quickly a huge fan of Lazy Bear Winery.

Unfortunately only available at the small production winery and meadery.

These guys use honey and fruit from their own property or either source very locally.

They continue to rack up some impressive competition medals for their products.

We strongly recommend a visit.
