Cape Blush – Truro Vineyards

Our wine tonight is the Cape Blush from Truro Vineyards In Cape Cod. Many thanks to our niece and nephew for this beautiful bottle of rosé.

As a big fan of lighthouses, absolutely just lovin’ this lighthouse shaped bottle. We think it’ll look great displayed with the bottle lights in it.

Light salmon in color.

Nose of pink grapefruit, blood orange, vanilla bean, and strawberries.

Off dry.

Blend of 92% Cayuga and 8% Cabernet Franc.

Flavor notes of fresh sliced grapefruit with a distinct tartness, freshly squeezed orange juice, tangerine, kumquat, papaya, strawberries, meyer lemon, key lime, and finishing like a bananas foster.

11% ABV.

$20 per bottle.

Part of their Lighthouse Series—composed of Cranberry Red, Diamond White, and Cape Blush. All featuring bottles shaped like the iconic lighthouses of Cape Cod.

Truro is located in Southeastern Massachusetts, at the “wrist” of Cape Cod.
